The Wildlings Woodend Wildlife Shelter Inc. is an independent Victorian wildlife shelter located in the Macedon Ranges providing rescue and rehabilitation for injured and orphaned native animals, with a strong focus on koalas.

We provide hands-on, daily care — food, shelter, transport and veterinary treatment — and work toward release wherever possible. Wildlife rescue is largely unfunded, and the cost of care is carried almost entirely by shelters like ours.

Donations help cover vet bills, specialised food, enclosure maintenance and emergency rescues, allowing us to keep responding when wildlife needs help most. Every contribution goes directly toward practical care and better outcomes for the animals in our care.
